Fall is Justin's favorite season. We decided to spend last weekend in the Ardennes which is the region in Belgium that has forest. There is a famous cave there called the Grottes de Han that is 18 km large. It was in the area we were traveling to so we went on the tour. It was amazing! We went on this cute little train to the entrance of the cave.

Erika and Austin thought that this huge stalagmite was pretty cool. Our tour guide suggested that it is about 120,000 years old. It is the only cave I have seen that includes built in cement stairs for the tourists.

After entering a huge cavern in the cave and seeing a light show, we went on a nice boat ride inside the cave on the Leese river which runs through it. This took us to the exit. You can see the boat in the background of this photo of the kids and I.

After our tour, Erika and Austin had a lot of fun playing on the big playground that was by the train that goes to the cave. Erika was scared of climbing up this rope web, but then she made it up. She was excited when she did it.

Austin had a ton of fun on this swing that ran like a zip line. It was really cool.

The drive was beautiful with all of the leaves changing color. We really enjoyed the view from the citadel in Dinant.

We also thought that Dinant was a neat little town. We had a great time together on our little trip to see the fall.

It looks like you had a great time. The cave looks very interesting! I love all of the pictures - you and the kids look so cute and happy!
What a super fun little trip!
That zip line is just like on Diego! I bet he totally loved it. :)
